YOUR DAY, AT A GLANCE

A little planning. A great day out.

◷ 5–6 hours✈ Class D↗ Ground transportation required

Choose a date when both attractions offer daytime entry. Check Ryman special hours first; skip major downtown event periods if you prefer a quieter outing.

Suggested time on the ground includes a planning allowance for transfers. Driving times, bookings and availability are not live. Use current aviation sources for your flight.

  1. Arrive at John C. Tune

Park with Contour and take the rental or taxi arranged in advance. Confirm the return ride before heading downtown.

  2. Follow the music's history

Allow about two hours at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. Book museum admission directly; extra guided experiences are optional and require more time.

  3. Choose a Nashville lunch

Pick Puckett's at 5th & Church for Southern comfort food or Acme at the foot of Broadway for a casual lunch. Confirm kitchen hours and leave room for queues.

  4. Visit the Ryman, then head back

Use your selected daytime tour slot for a self-guided look inside the historic auditorium. Allow roughly an hour, then return to the airport with your own departure margin.

Settle these details before departure

Getting around: Contour lists on-site Go Rentals (615-703-9210). Reserve the rental or arrange a taxi and return pickup before leaving the airport; no all-day courtesy-car promise or live availability is provided.

Return plan: Confirm the taxi pickup or rental return arrangements before going downtown. Leave room for event traffic, returning the car, fuel and aircraft preparation. The 5–6 hour suggestion is an editorial ground-planning estimate, not a guaranteed travel time.

Season: Indoor attractions make this a year-round idea, subject to holiday closures and the Ryman's event-dependent tour hours. Thanksgiving closes both attractions; the museum also closes Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
